My class' crazy version of Jose Rizal's famous El Filibusterismo... (mostly Dean, Gt and mine's version-lol) I hope no one will bash about it. Reading El Filibusterismo is part of the Philippine highschool curriculum, so every senior highschool student in the Philippines should study about Jose Rizal's famous, awe-inspiring historical novel. Im sure that some students may find reading that novel as boring and useless but if they're blessed with absurd thinking classmates, they might find the story filled with weird settings, crazy events and a rather colorful cast like corny stuffs, people dying from drinking too much coffee, Corazon Aquino, UPLB, Francis M, Craig David, Tokio Hotel planning to invade the Philippines literally, old men learning how to dance ballet, the Kapitan Heneral kidnapped by UST students, people being arrested for driving their calesas in Makati when their calesas are coding and After-British-rule-Hong Kong pop culture.
Once upon a time, there was a very corny streamer called "Tabo" making it's way slowly among the murky Laguna de Bay(that is full of mermen and gillyweeds). There was mud, bamboos and Bamboo singing "Yo tell me what you want..." in the banks of the bay as the streamer passes by. In the upper deck of the streamer are Spaniards and Spaniard-Spaniardans talking about Spanish stuffs, Rommjan Mendoza and a certain "Rey Mysterio" called Simoun. Primadonna Dona Victorina was pissed off with the old, merry indios around the lake and the skipper shouting "Baporps" and "Estaborps". On the lower deck are passengers like Indios and sleeping Cheneses. Among them are Basilio- my Atenista best friend from the mental hospital and Isagani- who had a crush of Phoebe's ex's girlfriend. Those guys were talking about putting up a Spanish school. Basilio is on his way to go home to his hometown Jerusalem. In the Noche Buena of Ashton Kutchero, he was beaten up by some Bashi-bazouks while Kevin just looks at him tearfully.
Then Basilio snuck down from the house in which he was staying at and into the woods where his mental mom Sisa was buried. There he met "Papa Piolo" Simoun, whom Basilio quickly recognizes as Crisostomo Ibarra.
On Christmas time, Basilio's gf Juli woke up with a start and snogged the emerald locket Basi gave her. The locket once belonged to Salazar Slytherin, then to the basilisk who lives in a secretive chamber of deputies in France, then to Maria Clara after defeating the monster on a French Riviera vacation with Ibarra 13 years back, then to a beggar/gigolo called Nicholas Toussant, then to Basilio as payment for curing his syphilis. Her dad Kabesang Tales who had a really hard time with the Prayle corporation. The Prayle corp. are trying to confiscate Kabesang Tales' land in which he, his zombie wife, his zombie eldest daughter, Juli, Tano, Old Tata Selo ( not GT's little sis, okay?? she doesn't even exist during Rizal's time) and some gang of Amishes worked hard and partied like in 1699. Then Kabesang Tales got kidnapped by a gang of communists because... well, he is a rich capitalist who invest in the London, New York, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore stock exchange. The communists are asking Juli for $ 500,000,000,000,000,000 and some bags of Cheezee and Clover to eat. Having none of these ready, she went to work as a maid for Corazon Aquino aka Hermana Penchang. One day, Tata Selo suffered a stroke after a ballet practice and then he lost his voice. Then Juli finally paid off the communists and set dad free.
One day, Kabesang Tales got mad at the friars to the point he stole Simoun's revolver and exchanged it with Juli's locket(which has so much sentimental value for Simoun aka Ibarra) and ironically, joined the NPAs who kidnapped him- Stockholm Syndrome much??
Then in Los Banos, the Governor General and his homies were hunting some deers and UP students as they talked about the Spanish school thing kids like Basilio were talking about, Jesuit priests and sore eyes.
Meanwhile, in faraway UST in Espania, Sampaloc Manila, UST law student Placido Penintente was having a really hard time with his Physics professor Padre Millon because Millon wasn't a licensed teacher (Okay, try finding Millon in the list of licensed teachers in PRC). Then it was mentioned that 19th century Atenistas hastily walk around wearing European clothes like H&M, Christian Audigier, Tazuma, Marks and Spensers, Topshop, Zara, Mango and Chanel with a pile of books on their arms like Hermione Granger, while Letraners walk around with fewer books and they were wearing Pinoy mainstream clothes like Bench, Penshoppe, Human, those big "Three stars and a sun" tshirts, i heart Ninoy tshirts, Cory ribbons and banana peel slippers. Then there are also plans to erect a statue of a well-loved UST Prof(i hope it's sir Nyeh Nyeh aka sir Nick) to rival "Avatar-Benavides".
In UST, students arent allowed to touch scientific apparatus so UST sucks back then.
In Macaraig(the guy who sang Insomia)'s Xavierville town house was full of boarding Atenist students who spend much time doing homework(as usual), play fencing, basketball and hitting Chinese vendors who can't set up a Shakeys, Starbucks or Macdonalds franchise near Ateneo back then. Here, we meet Sandoval, the Spanish thespian who loves everything Filipino and Pecson, the guy who says "No to drugs". In Macaraig's home, all the guys who wanted to set up a school for the Spanish language meet up and talk about their plans. They need to bribe Don Custody or Ginoong Pasta so their Spanish school will be approved. The bribes that they will be using are hookers from Amsterdam and Las Vegas. Sadly, both failed.
Meanwhile, the Chenes Quiroga who looks a hell like me was having a party in the USA in his house, inviting all the most important poobahs of the land so he can be the consul of China. Quiroga was being emo about losing some 9000 pesoses because he bought some purty bracelets from Simoun and he offered a salamahe lady just one of the bracelets but she got them all. Simoun told the chenes not to fret and he'll pay all the people's debts from him on one condition. The condition is that Quiroganess should allow Simoun to use his warehouse to store his guns, ammo and AKs.
After the party of Quiroga, Ben Zayb and Father Camorra went to the Quiapo fair(aka manghuhula, gayuma, pirated dvd, porn vids, Hayden Kho and eskandalo galore) and they were gawking at the girls out there, they even spotted Paulita Gomez making a grand entrance with an Isagani who seemed to be looking like a Bill Kaulitz strutting around on a Comet awards' red carpet. Thank goodness for them(and for Juanito and Dona Victorina being emo behind them), paparazzis don't exist yet since digicams aren't the in thing yet back then.
Then an American wannabe cholo gangsta mr.Leeds had a magic show which had Dean Villar's talking head(even if he's decapitated, he still talks and talks). Then Padre Salvi fainted and seeing this as an awesome fad to follow, all the ladies in the show also fainted.
Then some boring chapters later, there was a show called Mel and Joey that everyone in Manila wanted to watch. There was a guy called Camaroncocido who was being greeted "Kaibigan..." by
Boy Abunda, then his best friend Francis M came wearing a pair of Levis jeans. Francis M told Camaroncocido that Rizelle gave him a large sum of money for Mel and Joey posters to be posted all over Manila. In the show, Tadeo was showing all his homies from the province how awesome he is in Manila that he even knew the Governor general personally. While hanging out with Macaraig("Insomia, hu-aaaaaah..."), Isagani spotted Paulita from a distance dating Juanito Pelaez and with Dona Victorina as chaperon. Isagani was downtrodden but he recalled poor Don Tiburcio (Madlangtuta), the battered hubby of Dona Victorina who fled and spirited away in UPLB, where he was having a good time as a political activist of the Arroyo regime.
(Then Dean shouted that Tiburcio is hotter than Juanito Pelaez after t. Anna told us that Dona Victorina loves Juanito)
While Isagani is into the blue(and when he lose himself, he thinks of you?? wtf...), Macaraig, Pecson, Sandoval and Tadeo are waiting for the cancan of Julien Jehan. The reason why there are domestic helpers is that because of the domestiques.
(Then Dean told us that in this part Juanito undressed Dona Victorina. yuck, Dean...)
Meanwhile, Juanito was telling Donya Victorina about some French like Servantes(yung mga tulad daw ni Julien).
After that, Maria Clara suddenly died, which thwarted Simoun's plans for a revolution tonight. No, the reason why Simoun wasn't in the play is that because he is the makeup artist of the French actresses.
The next day, Isagani was full of jealousy and anger as he walked through the valley where he harvests his grain. He was sad because of Paulita, he remembers the times when he was with her, when they saw Agua and Bendita. Then he met up with Paulita who confronted him(since she thought last night that Isagani was also waiting for the cancan like Macaraig) and then both forgave each other. Isagani told Paulita to come live with him, Father Florentino and Tiburcio Madlangtuta and be his love in Kowloon Bay, but Paulita told him that she doesnt want to live in an inaccessible place since there's no cheap bus routes there and she doesn't have a passport yet. Isagani told Paulita that there's an MTR station there, but still Paulita doesn't want to.
Then Macaraig(Insomia-aaaaaaaaaah...), Isagani, Pecson, Sandoval, Juanito and some other people went to a Chenes resto where they saw Cyclops and there is a banner on the resto that says "Luwalhati kay Bill Kaulitz dahil sa kanyang ka-ulagaan"
Because of Cyclops, there are posters flying out everywhere in Manila the next day. Basilio, who wasn't in the dinner party, was arrested and Macaraig(Insomia-aaaaah...) laughed a lot as they are both sent to prison. Isagani and Father Fernandez were babbling about something we found boring.
After that, Manila was in chaos. Quiroga became paranoid and he hired a battalion of bodyguards, then Tokio Hotel came in Metro Manila(YEEPEE!!!^^), the Kapitan Heneral was kidnapped by students from UST(see, i told you a lot of UST students are evil like *cough* Keith Coral??), Padre Irene visited Kapitan Tiago, Kapitan Tiago died from drinking too much coffee, Tadeo was shot and Isagani surrendered himself to authorities since he's crazy and a kamanyag is a snake bite.
While Basilio was in prison, Juli asked Hermana Bali-who lives in Bali- for advice since Tata Selo is corny. She had a nightmare of Basilio being AK-ed by Spaniards. Bali told her to go to Camorra, where she was almost raped but she killed herself.
After being released, almost all the students failed their exams. Macaraig(Insomia-aaaaaaaaaahh) went to Europe to start a musical career. Only Isagani and Sandoval passed the exams. Basilio was still in jail coz he possessed the book of everything which the Spaniards banned since it's written in English. Ashton Kutcher was thrown in prison with Basilio because his calesa is coding in Makati. Isagani was dumped by Paulita because he's weird. Paulita will be marrying Juanito off because he's shy, sweet and quiet... just like her. Paulita told Isagani that Juanito is the one she wants to be with, get it?? ;-)
So Isagani cried, cried and cried.
Suddenly, Basilio was set free by Simoun. Basilio now a changed man, joined Simoun, who was planning to blast off Paulita and Juanito's wedding with nitro gliserina(aka pampaputi). Then the wedding day came("Oh hinde..." said Dean). Most of the students went back home and played farmville, while Isagani was nowhere to be seen(Either nasa CR, nasa Cafeworld or tinitingnan ang mga photos ni Paulita sa facebook nya at nag e-emo).
Simoun left the wedding feast and gave a lamp to the couple. The lamp was supposed to set off if it werent for Isagani's epal-ness that he threw the lamp off and jumped in the river.
Then came the chika minute of Ben Zayb, when everyone discovered that Simoun is probably a filibuster like Captain Haddock claimed.
Meanwhile in the Orendas' residence. Isagani was playing with the youngest Orenda girl with sunka, jump ropes, play doh and barbie dolls when the Orendas, Moymoy Palaboy and Chichoy talked about the wedding feast. There was gunpowder all over the place and they revealed that Isagani is Chinese like Quiroga and so does Father Florentino. After that, Isagani bid farewell to the Orendas and went off to Kowloon Bay to live with his uncle and forget all his miseries with history books, watching Old time buddy, Virtues of Harmony 1-kasi ang settings nun ay 15th century- and some childrens' show on TVB, asnwering sudoku on the streets and bottles of Heineken with his uncle(di ba, dun naman talaga yung tito nya nakatira?? yung tito nyang Chenes na mahilig sa Heineken at Doraemon??).
After that, Matanglawin(aka Kabesang Tales or popularly known as Kuya Kim) killed a judge... OMG. Then Tano accidentally killed the corny tata Selo.
Then the "katapusan" came in Kowloon Bay when Father Florentino received a not from Perez Hilton that the Spanish officials are going to his house to capture a disabled Spaniard and have a cup of tea with him. Tiburcio Madlangtuta, thinking he was the disabled Spaniard the Spanish guys were implying that they wanted to capture, fled off the father's house. The disabled Spaniard was in fact Simoun, who was hiding in Florentino's house. Simoun took poison and he told Florention of his secret. He was Crisostomo Ibarra, after a great misfortune in the Philippines, he fled to Cuba(where there are a lot of kubas) and made friends with the Kapitan Heneral and helped him rose into power. Then he inspired corruption in the Philippines(that's why there is corruption in the Philippines) and the rest is history. Simoun died(so Isagani havent saw this coz he's always late, he rode in the Philippine Airlines, there was a huge traffic between Chek Lap Kok and Kowloon Bay or all of the above??) and Father Florentino threw Simoun's riches off the bay, hoping the riches will be for the use of good stuffs instead of evil(but instead it was unearthed by scrupulous, greedy and dirty Chinese jewelers and used them to make fake versions of those and sell them on ebay).
Finished.

Chang Chong Chen
Since i was a little girl, i used to be amazed and inspired by the Belgian cartoonist Herge(Georges Remy)'s famous work The adventures of Tin Tin. Other than reading about how Harry Potter and his friends grew up from mischievous little kids to mature and happy young adults and how they dealt with everything that came in their way, i also leaned on Tin Tin for a dose of adventure and lessons about friendship and hope. Although i was a Sinophobe(which was quite ironic because majority of my blood is Chinese- since my mom is Filipino-Spanish and dad's a full Chinese) back then, my favorites among all the 24 Tin Tin comics are The Blue Lotus, Tin Tin in Tibet, Cigars of the Pharoah and Prisoners of the Sun. The first two had Tin Tin's young loyal Chinese friend Chang Chong Chen in the story.
Chang was quiet, sweet, nice, courageous and very brave- sounds like some freaking Gryffindor. He was an orphan who almost drowned in a flood when the orphanage he lives in was washed away and Tin Tin saved him. Then Tin Tin, Wang Chen Yee and Mrs. Wang were saved from being chopped off by a mad Di Di by Chang's very brave intervention along with Wang Chen Yee's homies. After that Wang Chen Yee adopted Chang and Tin Tin went home to Belgium. Then some time later, Chang went to live in Hong Kong and Wang Chen Yee's brother in London wanted him to live there so Chang sets off to London but the plane he was riding on crashed in the Himalayas. Tin Tin had a dream of him calling for help in Tibet, so he sets off for Kathmandu and then to Tibet after all the beggings and reluctance of Captain Haddock, Tharkey the sherpa and many others. Chang on the other hand, survived the crash but he was taken by the yeti. Good thing, the yeti took care of him and grew very fond. In the end, Tin Tin managed to save Chang from the yeti and then in the Castafiore Emerald, Chang is in London working in his adopted uncle's home. I was a first grader back then and i believed that Shanghai was part of Hong Kong(for some unknown reasons) and Hukow was Macau. The story is set in Shanghai(which i think back then was Hong Kong) and it was near Hukow(in what i heard back then Macau) where Tin Tin first met Chang- so i came to believe that Chang, Wang Chen Yee, Di Di, Mrs. Wang and some other people lives in Hong Kong. Then i got to read(and have my own copy of) Tin Tin in Tibet, where my belief that Chang was a Hong Konger went stronger when it was mentioned Chang is from Hong Kong in the newspaper. There was no youtube back then so i came to believe Chang was a Hong Konger for a long, long time- from elementary to (probably) third year highschool.
Then the years passed by, the Italian Disney comics W.I.T.C.H came and suddenly, my love for Tin Tin went mute and almost forgotten. But there is one thing that Tin Tin strongly influenced my life back then. Being a European lover back then, I used to think that Hong Kong was just like Manila- a polluted and overpopulated city that there's nothing quite special about it. During the days i was a French culture lover(grade 4-5) turned Italian aspirant(grade 6) turned German girl(first year- second year), my only definition of Hong Kong is Chang Chong Chen.
I was fully aware back then that tito John is a Hong Konger and i have Chinese relatives there but for me, Chang was the only awesome person in Hong Kong back then.
Then my way of thinking about Hong Kong changed suddenly. I noticed the people there were like me and Hong Kong is much cleaner, safer and more modern than Manila. Then I came to know that Hong Kong is more than Chang Chong Chen.
Then, after watching again some Tin Tin episodes did i discover that the setting of the Blue Lotus was in Shanghai(the city in China) and Chang(and probably Wang Chen Yee) moved to Hong Kong during the time of Tin Tin in Tibet. But i still regard Chang as a Hong Konger, a very cool one. There are many other awesome Hong Kongers like Jackie Chan, Maggie Cheung Man Yuk, Hawick Lau, Maggie Cheung Ho Yee, Stanley Ho, Donald Tsang, tito John, Shirley Wong, Lily Wong, Rocky Wong, Ah Pong Wong, Kelly Chen, Jade Chan and some others but i still think Chang's the most wicked among them all.

Halloween switcheroo
Halloween is the only time in the year in which young-uns and kids-at-heart(like me) dress up and let their creativity run wild. Some dress up as witches, some dress up as wookies, and others dress up as cookies. But one thing's for sure is that Halloween is the only time of the year in which people can dress up whatever they wanted to dress up in no matter how crazy it is. But in my case, Halloween is not only imitating someone's style for one day but also realizing if that someone you dressed up as is in your place for one day. I planned on dressing up as Lady Gaga(so i can wear my crazy, Lady Gaga-isque hairband) at first but Mark Malabanan suggested that i should dress up as Bill. I took his advise since i realized if im gonna be Lady Gaga, i should wear swimsuit.(I only wear swimsuit only of im gonna swim in a swimming pool or beach.-lol)
October 30, 10:30 AM. Irish Uy came home from U.N day in school. She took off her favorite black school jogging pants and black "Proud to be a MONTESSORIAN" tshirt to change into her H&M skull tshirt, Mango skinny pants and Tribal skater shoes- part of her costume that she will be wearing tonight. She planned on going as her major crushie/ Potterforums hubby/ probable old internet buddy/ probable guy who thinks im a Hong Konger/ fashion icon/ favorite singer/ favorite German/ favorite androgynous person Bill Kaulitz. As she took off her school clothes, she felt that Irish Uy left her. The moment she put on the clothes that resembles her crush's, she no longer feel like she was herself anymore but she was Bill Kaulitz. Like what Bill does whenever he had a performance later that evening, she decided to do her makeup and hair later an hour before she'll attend the party her best friend Gt will throw.
Some time later, her dad asked their household helper yaya Becca where on earth Irish is. Inside Irish, she wants to tell her dad that Irish is in To Kwa Wan, Kowloon... Probably wearing a white dress with a dark blue tie, dark blue sweater and black shoes like her cousin Lily. Irish Uy right now is probably reciting in Cantonese about mechanical and electromagnetic waves. Maybe when she goes home to her uncle and grandaunt's small apartment near the old Kai Tak airport, she would have a hour for memorizing all her lessons for the day, log in to the forums where she and Audrina first met(Potterforums.com) and then play her electric guitar inside Lily's room while Lily is busy watching TVB or updating her Facebook. In short, the real Irish is probably in somewhere Bill probably thought her to be in.
After helping out in their family business(not really helping out since im too young to memorize codes of autoparts. I would rather learn income taxes formulas, trigonometry, sound waves and sentence diagramming- which i all suck at-now since studying is a bigger priority than helping out in the business. It's only once in a lifetime that someone gets proper education). Bill Kaulitzified Irish Uy went upstairs to wash her face clean and open up her potterforums, stardoll and facebook to relax her off. It's only some two hours before she'll have to leave for school again and that time she decided to do the last parts that will make her completely Bill Kaulitz- putting on her silver blings, make up and tease her hair to make it look like Bill's infamous lion mane hair. After some time of surfing the net, Irish began to complete her transformation by ironing her hair straight. Then she went to put on some black eyeliner, dark eyeshadow, blusher and lipgloss(with the help of one youtube vid tutorial). Then here comes the hair part. With the help of another youtube video, i finally figured out how to make my hair defy gravity more than my previous attempts to imitate Bill's hair last summer- so far back then, i only mastered Bill's "Spring Nicht" and Comet 2007 awards hair.
After doing myself, i went to the Halloween party where i met my friends who had strange remarks. Some said i look cute and others say i look too freaky. Just like Bill, i just smiled and thanked them for their remarks. Leniel even said " Si Irish, mukhang rockistang nabuhay... sa patay." and Dean said(when he was introducing the teams for a certain game that i forgot) "Eto ang group ni Bill Kaulitz- na galing Germany."
It was fun anyway, even if it's only for a day. It made me realize how would Bill be if he was on my shoes.

A normal day in Montessori-detailed.
Okay, this blog post won't be much regarded as important but it might be something that would bring nostalgia when i read this years from now.
I arrived in school just in time and after praying, singing the national anthem, say the panatang makabayan, dance "Jai Ho" and sing the march song, we went to our classroom for our first class of the day, English, with sir Manto. In English, we didn't do much except compute for our grades and sir Manto gave us some assignment but thank God, they're vocabulary. Before sir Manto went to his next class, he told me to read editorials coz he made me compete for an essay writing contest- how's that?
Then T.H.E time came, in which T. Mafel talks about fishes and ways to preserve them. Gt and i shared a book on the back and we drew some fraeuleins in my intermediate pad at the back of the class. I guess Gt had some plans on embarking the fashion world than the world of medicine.-If you know what i mean. ;-)
Next came recess time when i ate some siu mei, meringues and drank a cup of royal. At first, i hanged around with my classmates in the lobby then soon after, the second years were dismissed. When i glimpsed at the two people whom i kinda consider as my "best buds"(i don't want to get hurt badly from losing a best friend again so who knows they might be my best friends or just close friends), i joined up with them and soon our daily Harry Potter discussion began. Jonathan flooded me with much Harry Potter questions out from his curiousity, asking me who's the greatest teacher in Hogwarts, spells that were taught there, about the horcruxes and such. Although it nags me up a bit, i don't care. Im happy that i have them for friends, all these times i don't have not even one Harry Potter loving friend to talk to in years(not counting internet friends like those from PF). Also, they proved to me that God is okay with me being a Harry Potter fan since why did God sent me some God loving, Harry Potter fans who had a Baptist pastor for a dad if God knows that Harry Potter's evil especially for me? Beat that, Joma Villahermosa.
Then the bell rang and it was time for Economics, the first time of the day in which we'll be meeting sir Ian. During eco class, Sir Ian was telling us a "fairytale"( or nonsense that involves a dwarf- an inside joke about PGMA). Phoebe on the other hand got interested with my Lady Gaga-isque headband that she wore it and also kept talking about non-sense. Non sense she talked about was Barack Obama was the Anti-Christ. Well, for me it's non-sense since she doesn't have any concrete proof. She said that in the book of Isaiah, he was mentioned there in Greek. Who knows, it may be a different Barack Obama or the translations could be wrong. And i don't want to judge people without knowing them who they really are since it's only God Himself who could judge people and i am not God. I would believe in Barack Obama as the antichrist if there was enough proof to support her claim. To see is to believe, they say.
The bell rang and it was math time, Sir Ian immediately threw a quiz. Thank God, i studied yesterday so i got 21/30(which is not bad, i guess. But i should do better next time), but i don't really get out new lesson in math. About the coterminal things and such, i just hope that i'll get it soon so i won't mess up on my next math exams again- like what happened last time.
After sir Ian gave us our assignment, he went off and it was lunchtime. After eating my lunch of fried rice from the canteen and vienna sausages that i brought(with Kassel nakikiepal about my lunch since she always notice along with Twinkle that my lunch is always cup noodles), i went to the library where i made my assignment in math and talk a little bit with Mark and Jonathan, the two Malabanan brothers. Then sir Jojo opened up the computer in the library and played a movie(the ten commandments), probably testing out if the CD works or not. After the bell rang, my buddies Jon and Mark left me but my classmates entered the library after telling them to go there earlier to watch sir Jojo's movie. I agree that watching movies is also a good way to learn things.

Meet the Malabanans
Before i entered IJMCP, i expected that i will have no Harry Potter loving friends there since back then i had the notion that Harry Potter is for kids only. But surprise took me the moment i met Gt and his cousins ate Kim and -especially- Keith. They proved to me that highschool students can also enjoy the joys Harry Potter give when they became my best friends. But like the saying that i learnt in Montessori "Nothing is constant in this world but change", my friends quickly changed their ways and slid away from me. Although Gt, ate Kim, Tata and Nr still treats me well, Keith was different. He treats me like i don't exist and tries everything he can to avoid me to the point when some teacher tries to group me and him in a project or dance, he would find a way to shake either me or him off the team. He would find a way to seperate us even if it would take serious means to break it off. And im amazed he almost always manage to seperate. So, other than breaking my friendship with him, he really did a good job to soar my hatred on him to the point i want him to disappear in my life and never see him again.
Two years after experiencing a kind of betrayal from friends whom i thought would never suddenly change, i never wished having Harry Potter loving friends again in my highschool life and became numb when it comes to having best friends. I just don't want to get hurt again like what they-especially Keith- did to me. I just told myself to get used with being alone and my only close friends in school are my classmates and sir Ian. I don't want to be messed up with another friendship that would leave me again in agony especially it will be my last year in highschool. It took me about two years(october 2007 to april 2009) to get over it and i don't want to get through another frustration again.
But then, two second year students moved in to Montessori and when i saw them first i expected them to be total loners(and i promised myself to be close with my classmates only), Harry Potter haters(since they are devout born-agains like Phoebe) and had no chances of being close friends with me but i made a grievous fault.
June has passed and i was having fun within the comfort zone of my classmates. But then fate has it that most of us got seperated with each other because of the Nutrition Month cooking fest. All highschool students were divided into seperate groups and almost all fourth years were made to be leaders of the groups. I ended up to be the leader of the team which composed of Asriel, Twinkle, Marlon, Camille and Jonathan. I never, ever expected anything from Jonathan and i treated him something like scheisse even if Twinkle insisted on me that Jonathan is an expert on cooking since his mom is learning to be a chef. In the end, i gave in and made Jonathan my junior assistant(with Asrie as my volunteering head chef/senior assistant). Then there was a sudden twist of fate when Jonathan found out that i was a Harry Potter fan. "So what?" my stressed-from-doing-everything-and-studying-for-the-UPCAT self snapped at Jonathan. He smiled and told me that he was also a Harry Potter fan too, as well as his siblings Mark, Emerson, Clarisse and James. So that began a friendship that i never expected will bloom out.
At first, i don't hang that much with them since im afraid that they are maybe like Gt, Keith and ate Kim- who will also leave me for good. But after long, i began to consider them as my homies including Marlon and NR. After the Nutrition month celebration, i began to hang out with them in the library, telling them things about Harry Potter. Not long, i found myself having lunch with them and our conversations went beyond Harry Potter. Due to constant pressure in the sportsfest and my numbness on best friendships, i think i started eating with them at either the weeks during my cheering practice or the week when i was studying for the DLSUCET since i remember telling them that i will take the DLSUCET and they are all bidding me "Good luck".
Well, now it's only a few months away before i have to graduate and leave Montessori, im so glad i finally made good friends such as the Malabanans before i go and start life again. I hope i'll be able to keep in touch with them and also meet friends as good as them when im in college. With all the challenges that lies on college life, who knows i will or i won't?

DLSUCET: Sorrows and surprises
Following the ACET in my list was the DLSUCET. I thought that the DLSUCET was easier than the ACET- from all those claims that La Salle only takes kiddies with very rich mommies and daddies, never minding how intelligent the kid is- but i was wrong(along with those guys who assumed to me that La Salle is the most low-iq among the big three). Turned out that in La Salle, you money not only matters but also brains. At least i had fun as much as i had when i took the ACET.
Before i took the test, i met two girls, Katrina(from Saint Paul QC) and Meg(from FEU FERN). We talked a bit about the test and the fact that we were still sleepy.
i gave out some text messages to GT, ate Ash, dad and kuya Cj, telling them "shutang inamets, im about to take the La Salle exam". Soon after the test had started, i scanned my test booklet and was surprised to see how hard the math sub test was, then i started doing the first subtest(an IQ test most likely since it shows problem solving questions and analogies) in my exam. Five minutes to go and i got finished answering them. Then i went frantic when i realized that i was shading at the wrong questions for the last ten questions- with all of my answers a question after the question i intended to answer with my given shades). So i hurriedly erased all ten of them and shaded them again, i finished just in time for the proctor to announce to move on to the next subtest. Man, i made one big mess on my testpaper but i hope my answers will be considered since it would be a waste. =(
After some time, i found myself answering the math questions- with my least fave math topic Geometry, some fourth year maths and the topic we haven't discussed about as of that time, Trigonometry. Although i asked sir Ian for help before the DLSUCET, it just gave me little help since most of the trigonometry questions were those complicated ones.-gasp!! So much for Trigonometry. Then break time came and i met Meg again, who told me that solving logarithms should be solved with calculators. I was shocked about it, since sir Ian never let us use calculators to solve logarithms(and im a big fail at the more complicated log, honestly.=p). Lugi ka ngayon.
After some more tedious IQ tests, there came the reading comp. in which it made me lighten up a bit. If the Ateneo Reading Comprehension mentioned Indonesia, Singapore and made me go into an untimely rapture of Bill(long story), it was nothing comapred to the awesomeness i saw in De La Salle's. They mentioned Hong Kong(buh-na-na-nah), Seoul, Gisele Buenchen, Jay-Z, Star Trek and most of all Harry Potter!!! Now that's what i call an entrance exam!!!

Sportsfest!!!!
Last october 1 and 2 was the Sportsfest which was held in Lucena city. =P
I never expected that we would win lots and only one winner in the cheering contest!!(shutang inamets)
I was soooooo upset when it was announced that there was only one winner in the Highschool cheering contest and that was freaking Lucena( the Mary Sue-ish among the four branches of Montessori. They're like always the first...) . In the yesteryears, there was three declared winners. And now that Lucena became host school, it became horribly unfair. Only one winner... wtf?
Of all the hard work, the confidence, the body aches and the torment i endured during my practices and what we got was nothing? It would be okay with me even if all of the branches were given awards like before and it would be okay for me that San Pablo would even end up as third, at least we had recognition for that.
Also i heard from some of the Montessori San Pablo moms(tita Weny, Abby's mom, tita Flor) that Lucena started practicing their dance since august, while Lipa and us just started on the second week of september. It was really unfair, we all should have the same practice time just like the SPF.
At least, my dear classmate Riz won the title "Miss Sportsfest" later that night. Like when the special awards were given out(all of the special highschool awards were garnered by Twinkie aka Lucena candidate), we thought that Twinkie would win so me, Dean and Phoebe decided to leave the audience out of disgust and disappointment, but we were shocked to hear that Rizelle became "Miss Sportsfest". - It was like a miracle, but as the saying goes "...walang himala!"
And then came the second day- aka ball games high school day- i came to Lucena late but just in time to hear that Lucena-again- won the girls' volleball game. Then came the San Pablo vs. Lipa boys' volleyball( and San Pablo won). Then the teachers' volleyball game (in which Lucena won over Lipa/San Pablo). I left Lucena out of disgust as the basketball boys finals San Pablo vs. Lucena has begun.
Then on monday, i was surprised to hear that San Pablo became champions in the basketball- after 6 years!!
