An afternoon of pure laughter and merriment

If my retreat last december was a total "Ultimate Bonding Experience" with my classmates, March 11, was however, the equivalent for two of my closest friends in school, Jonathan and Mark Malabanan. It was an afternoon of total fun and laughter as we enjoyed delicious food and sang songs for just about anyone we remember.

It was a balmy, January recess time when one of us thought of a rendezvous outside school as a "Lilipat-na-nang-ibang-school" party for me. Since i'll be leaving my poor friends behind next year for college, it would be nice if i leave them some last memorable moments before i go. Since we never hanged around as best friends outside school, we decided to hold this party somewhere else.
Then some time later, we decided that it should be held during march- the last month of the school year. We decided that it would be better if it is on March 11- Marlon's birthday as well as the second day of finals. It is like hitting two birds with one stone if we decided to have the party on that date.
Throughout January and February, we had loads of ideas on where to have fun on March 11. One of my favorite ideas was the lunch at Papum siu mai/Sampaloc lake biking trip. It's been a long time since i wanted to go biking in Sampaloc lake(not on the lake itself, though). But then, a wonderful idea popped in my mind.
One day, i suggested to Jonathan, Mark and Marlon that we should go on a Kareoke party in Santa's Old Town(in which i'll shoulder all the expenses). The Malabanan brothers had no problem with that, but Marlon doesn't like even if we can sing "Monsoon" there.

Then the days become weeks and the weeks eventually turned into a month. Before we knew it, it was march already. We were sad as well as happy about it. Sad because my days in Montessori are numbered, happy because our March 11 outing is drawing near. Suddenly, a day before March 11, Marlon withdrawn from our planned rendezvous, saying that his tita planned to take him, Rizelle, Arthur, Zhae and Ken to Pizza Hut. Of course, we were bummed about it but i just told the two that we'll carry on with our plans no matter what happen.

March 11 came and it was the second day of our finals as well as the Sophomore's NAT(National Achievement Test). Of course, we went through our exams as if there's nothing unusual will happen afterwards. After the second year guys finished their NAT, i happily rushed to the phone and asked dad for permission to go and he said yes. I feel guilty because the excuse i used was Rizelle's birthday party, but i lied so that i can experience this chance that's about to slip from my nose. I admit i never been out with my friends to eat and be merry before this, but i wanted to experience this before my highschoolness disappear. After receiving my dad's blessing, we went past kuya Zaldy Camacho and we were off.

We arrived in Santa's Old Town when (much to my dismay since she might make chika of this to dad the next time we eat there) tita Yolai was there. She was surprised but happy when she saw me brought along some friends to eat in her place. After ordering some food, one of the waitresses whom im familiar with turned the kareoke on and we began to sing. The first song we sang was "Happy birthday"(for Marlon) sung by me. Then i sang again, this time my all-time SOT-fave, "Monsoon" by Tokio Hotel(for the dreaded Keith Coral), much to the delight of my best buds. As we ate our bolognese and sip our raspberry iced tea(but i opted for coke), we sang songs like anak(for Dean Villar), Magdalena( for my classmates), Half crazy(for Bill Kaulitz), Puso(for Ateneo students from the past, present and the future. Whether fictional or non fictional.), jai ho(for Jawo and all the others who tease Jonats as the A.R Rahman aka the guy who sang "jai hoooooooooooooo..."), I hate this part(for Xurt), All about us(for me, Jonathan, Mark and Marlon), Insomia(for sir Ernest and Dean again), Pitong gatang(for sir Manto), Paparazzi(for Xurt again i think or someone else whom i forgot), Pokerface(for NR and his notorious pimples), Dancing Queen(for Nikki Goza who really love this song), Man in the mirror(for Kassel and sir Cris), Breaking free(for everyone sabi ni Mark), Everyday(for Jonathan and Mark's friend from Canossa), Reality(for everyone sabi ko) and some other songs i forgot.

After some time of total merriment, Jonathan told me that it's time for us to go since it's already 2:30 PM. I secretly wanted to extend it but i feel that it's rather embarrassing since im their host so i gave in their request. I bid them goodbye as they left Santa's Old Town and i left on my own way.

So, we all had a really great, memorable bonding moment while singing kareoke in Santa's Old Town. For Jonathan and Mark, they told me that they had the most wonderful time ever the next day. I could see the happiness in them as they tell Marlon and NR about all the fun that we had without them. For me, giving them such joy is my gratitude to them for being the bestest friends i could possibly have. Then, there is also this feeling of satisfaction in me that i finally did what normal highschoolers usually do that i cannot do. Having an overprotective parent as well as a "homegirl" attitude, i never get to eat out with my friends in my first three years of highschool. It was only in my very last part of fourth year when i get to enjoy that perfect moment of bliss with my friends.

So, when i look back at my highschool memories some years from now, this memory will be one of those that will stand among the rest. This moment which is my first and most unforgettable rendezvous with my friends. The rendezvous which i spent time with my two best friends, Jonathan and Mark Malabanan.

My classmates in fourth year highschool...

Kevin Matthew R. Calabia, Julien Henri V.Jehan, Gideon Tyrone R. Hidalgo, Phoebe Hanna D. Ansama, Dean Tristan M. Villar and Rizelle Serrano. These six senior high school students of Infant Jesus Montessori Center Philippines are my classmates. These teenagers have been with me close for only a year(but most of them for four years) but they formed a very close bond with me that i will never ever forget.

Kevin was a fourth year highschooler ever since Ian Lopez, Ronziel Equila and some other's time. He was a close friend of mine when i was in first year. Sadly, he repeated fourth year because he wasn't doing really good in school. He improved more or less that's why he was able to graduate... or was it because teachers like sir Manto and sir Cris doesn't want to see Kevin in class anymore and the only thing that could make that happen is to pass Kevin in their classes?
Anyway, even if Kevin wasn't overly blessed with brains but at least he's really talented with drawing things and playing the guitar. Also Kevin is our pet horse/tikbalang, no wonder every time it rains on a sunny day, Kevin is missing and we get upset with him for not inviting us in his many weddings. I'll surely miss my pet horse.

Julien was the all around Frenchman of the class. Among my classmates, Julien and i are the only halfbreeds in class, the rest are Filipinos. Coincidencially, both of us exhibit a lot of traits that are typical to our non-pinoy halves. As a half-French, Julien is an extrovert on the outside but an introvert on the inside, loved France very much, fashionable, superficial, lusty(to the point that he even told us that he dreamt about raping me while he was asleep during sir Manny's class when we were in third year), shrewd, bookish, a bit lazy but a stern leader(like when he was treasurer of our class, he had us all pay our taxes on time) and he is a huge, huge fan of world history like me(particularly, French or military history). Julien and I would never be close with each other if we weren't both history bluffs, our love for France or Germany and books. It's also interesting to note that Julien and i got married in the marriage booth when we were in fourth year, thanks to my best friend Jonathan.
I will never forget him saying that he will have me deported as a terrorist when i visit France. I will miss those days when Julien and i were deeply discussing about the hundred years' war, Joan of Arc, cocktail drinks, alcoholic drinks, the human star of La Salle, (his, not our) marriage, his dream of snogging underneath a cherryblossom tree with his dream girl, his French, English and Spanish holidays, his dream of going to Italy, his boycrush with Bill Kaulitz, Tokio Hotel songs, Hayley Wiliams, universities, the prime meridian in Greenwich, a girl with glow-in-the-dark tback in Eiffel Tower, Majorca and some other things. I'll also miss those times when we were singing "Through the monsoon" or "Bluer than blue" together. I will never, ever forget my French male equivalent, the kind of best friend i was looking for when i was in elementary.

Phoebe is the fashionista girl whom i used to loathe a lot when i was in third year. I thought she will still stay as a hateful classmate to me in fourth year, but Phoebe proved me wrong. In my fourth year, Phoebe became a more considerate, more open-minded and more friendly than her third year self. Her changes impressed me so she became my friend again. She too, was impressed with my change, especially that i became closer with my classmates. I will never forget her being my official makeup hair artist. She often fix my hair every time i get a bad hair day. I'll never forget how she was amazed with me and my knowledge with a lot of interesting facts like uncle sir Pat.

Rizelle is the tall, shy, reserved girl who is Marlon's older sis. She is the one who often win in school beauty contests(she won Ms. Sportsfest when we were in fourth year, Prom princess and eventually prom queen). We weren't that much close when we were in third year but i was probably the first classmate she met in Monte. In our third year, she was "Bongang bongang Rizelle". Then in fourth year, she is always the butt of a lot of jokes and hilarious songs in our class, most popular is "Ako'y nasa Sariaya, ala siete ng gabi...". That song was so popular that even the Lucena peeps went to sing along with us when we sing that last retreat. I will never forget her smile, her long, straight, flat hair, her gowns by Chiva, her flails, her complaints about Marlon(and Marlon's complaints about her), her official stylist Raul, her timidness, her dad Rizaldy's smile and her friendliness.

Dean is the one whom i always binabra. He is the boisterous, parasitical giant classmate of ours who never fails to "base" his assignments on other people's assignments, shout in his muras and influence the minds of others with his, uhm... muras. Dean was also sir Manto's favorite student to pick up for his jokes as well as Ma'am Flor's fave pet peeve. I will never forget him bullying me for being a "Chenes", his sayings like "Ay tabakuan ni mite" or "O hindeeee...", braiding my hair, raiding my bag for my clover, cheezy, Chinese pastries, math assignments, sir Ian minusing my math assignment because Dean "based" his answers on my assignments, believing my word that Xurt is gay(because Gt is about to tell Dean that Xurt has a huge crush on me), asking me why am i Chinese even though i don't know how to speak Chinese(i snapped back at him why is Julien is French even though he doesn't know how to speak French... and Julien replying back "oh, in your face..."), his left arm with the whitebeard sign, him doodling on everywhere(from tables to Julien's back in which he drew the Huguenot symbol), drawing the Huguenot or whitebeard symbol everywhere, his dream about everyone he knew entering heaven while sir Manny is acting as San Pedro, being the leader of the Huguenots according to sir Ian, distorting the whole story of Ibong Adarna, Florante at Laura, Noli me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, being upset with tita Grace for forgetting him as her godson and loads of other mischief.

GT has been my best friend since i was in first year. He was the top of our class, the shining leader and the only honor student in our class. Even if he's shining out with all his achievements and responsibilities, he still never forgets to be kind, friendly, helpful and humble to all of us. He's the kind of honor student who still keeps his head cool and treat us as his equals. But not everything is rosy and Mary Sue-ish in Gt. Back when we were in first year, Gt is my total best friend because he was a huge Harry Potter fan like me. He was the best friend that i cherished a lot until he stopped hanging out with me, stopped being a Harry Potter fan and hanged around with his new friends. Gt was invisible in my life until the summer before we turned fourth year. I came back from Hong Kong speaking in Cantonese gibberish when i entered Brain Train. Since there's no Rafa-dears in sight, i became the one whom Gt was close with and he introduced me to his friends from LC- Ronald, Kathy, Abby and Neil. Then after the Brain Train, Gt began to treat each and every one of us class and sir Ian as his best friends(maybe in Rizelle's case, more than his best friend). GT was even my groupmate last retreat, and we had so much fun together. Once again, Gt became my best friend even though the Gt whom i used to talk about Harry Potter is long dead and gone. I will never forget the times when we talk about sir Ian, God, math, our dream schools, Ivan de los Santos, when we draw gowns, speak to each other in Chinese gibberish, when we work together as a team with Abby, Twinkle, sir Ian and t. Wei, when we ate together in Mami ni Osang during our BT sessions, when he calls me Irishes, Chenes, Shih Tzu or Hermione(first year), when he fixs my hair(and sometimes my clothes), when tita Weny helps us out in our problems, when tito Jun and i talks about random things and a loads of other things.

and last but not definately the least, me. I was considered the Chenes of the class. When i entered Montessori, i was showered with popularity and attention until new girls came to our school. I was a low profiler until i hit fourth year, when i became the "Pambansang Chenes" of the highschool. As the Pambansang Chenes, i became one not only because of my looks but because my attitude is so Chinese, the way i dress is so Chinese, i speak in Chinese gibberish, most of my favorite food are Chinese, i am really good in math(by Montessori standards), i reap a lot of academic achievements(by Montessori standards) and a lot of people say i got this aura that they feel common among Chinese.

My classmates all left in me not only treasured memories but also life's lessons. They taught me how to be sociable, how to win the acceptance of others, how to take on revenge(with laughs) and most of all, how to leave a mark on other peoples' lives.

Running through the monsoon without Bill

What would you feel if the guy whom you are dying to meet since you were 13 is not the guy whom you used to look up to and admire from afar?
I would feel really bad of course, if that happens to me. Actually, that situation could probably happen this year and unfortunately, my favorite singer/ crush/ style icon Bill Kaulitz, is no longer the visual kei hair-donning German singer whom i used to love because his sense of style mirrors mine. Instead, he became a different person and i don't like the way he changed.

Late last year, Bill told VJ Chino of MYX that Tokio Hotel plans to perform in the Philippines this 2010. By then his style was a bit okay(look at "World behind my wall" vid) but he was already different from the Bill i used to love when i was 13 up to 15. Okay, he might be beginning to change shockingly when i was 15, but all those changes are still tolerable and little compared to the rate he has now. Back then when i was 14, he used to loathe eating veggies and that was one of the many reasons why i like him. Now look at him, so skinny as a stick and he's now a vegetarian. The reason why that ostrogoth as well as his kambal sa uma and Georg became exclusive veggie eaters, i don't know. After that, Bill began to change so differently that i don't recognize him, especially Bill Kaulitz my fashion icon. I can't believe Bill ditched his already awesome tshirts, neat leather jackets, diesel pants and adidas sneaks for some outrageously flamboyant clothes like Dsquared outfits and Rick Owen high heels. Then he ditched his super cool visual kei hairstyle for a sucky hairstyle ala Colonel Sponz. Bill thinks his style became more masculine than before but i say no because he's wrong. I shout "Niet, niet" over and over on his statement because more people mistook him as a gay in his new style than before. He's a really dumb dumbass. He thinks that he's the coolest rockstar ever with his very gay new style, but nooooooo... he looks grotesque and revolting that i regret lusting after him. If i see him like that when he sings here in the Philippines, i will throw a thick business book at him, pour acid on his ugly face or tell him that his crush Edward Cullen will never date him because he's got himself an ugly, colonel Sponz hairstyle.

Why can't Bill be like other rockstars instead? Why does he have to be different from Billie Joe Armstrong, Yael Yuzon or even Gerard Way? Why does he have to wear such extravagant and flamboyant clothes even if he just walk around the streets? Why do Tokio Hotel have to have a really strange concert presence and sing emo songs?
Im so disappointed, he thinks he is so cool while in fact, he isn't. If he goes on like this, someday he'll have an infliction on his stomach, body mass, lungs, heart, blood pressure, nervous system or his whole integumentary system.

It makes me so sad that i broke down into tears every time i think about him. Maybe the reason why he looks so revolting for me is that, maybe, in my conscience's opinion, it's because God is punishing me for lusting after that guy. I abuse my admiration for Bill so much that it made God dismayed. He made Bill change like that so He would show me how dismayed he was with me. What i may be doing may be a natural thing for teenagers like me, but maybe im taking it too far that it's hurting Him. Maybe if i lessen(or stop a bit if possible), Bill will get better. Maybe when he get better, i'll see the wonderful, meat-eating, childish Bill i used to adore. If not, then i have to accept it(seriously) and move on.
So i hope when Tokio Hotel goes here in the Philippines, Bill wears his hair nice and long while in a awesome looking Dsquared tshirt, skinny jeans and black boots or sneaks. No Colonel Sponz hairstyle, huge feather-whatever or leather pants business. Or else i will make the hullabaloos from Plants vs. Zombies spit on him until he falls like the Dancing Zombie(or aka Michael Jackson).

I hate my family.... nope, im just upset

Ever since my mom passed away, i've been living under the communist dictatorship of my greedy, cunning, evil grandma who just think of money and ways to ruin my life as well as my sister's.
She's really a nightmare, honestly.
She is always the one who makes us endure the pains of being poor even though we have money enough for us to enjoy good food and comforts in life at the same time, enough money for the future. She is always been the one who would change everything just to satisfy all her idiotic whims. Then there is this dad who would rather betray us and rush at grandma's side than get angry at his neglectful mother who terrorize his kids.
Last december 26 in Baguio, my dad got sick(so he just stayed at the place where were staying at) and we were in SM Baguio. Dad promised us to eat dinner at Oh mai Khan later. When it was time for us to go, grandma suddenly threw a typhoon of arrogance that she changed the plans that we're just going to eat at home- with the confounded and cursed KFC takeout for dinner. Like for all those weekends that God has made, i endured eating that confounded fastfood that she really loved- and it's only once a year that we all get to eat proper food in a restaurant like Oh Mai Khan. And she just foiled our tradition away and made us follow her whims. I recalled that dad was feeling sick but still i had the need to talk to grandma about the previous plans. But then, my grandma had the total guts to put her fists on her waist and shouted at me as if i don't understand the whole situation. I just sat on a corner, too embarrassed to look at the confused onlookers and cried.
Then just a while ago, my dad asked me if what he was hearing about me was true. I told him and then i told him everything but still he sided on grandma and defended on the fact that im so selfish that i don't give a damn on him compared to grandma- who is always right and great, in fact she is always been greater than God(sarcastically speaking). And im so sensitive enough that it will give me a very hard time when im in Manila.
Right now, not only i have a tyrannical grandmother but i also had the worst father ever. I got the one who always promise me that he will protect me from those people who torments me, but look at what just happened, he didn't lived up to his promise of protecting me from my very mean grandmother. Sacrastically speaking, my dad is so great, very great not only he left me but he also had the guts to tell me i won't survive in Manila with me being so "emotional". When im in Manila, if someone was treating me like that, i could kick their arses anyway since they aren't that much important to me and if they are my professors and or employers, it's okay for them to treat me that since they are training, grading and paying me anyway.
For now, i just tell myself that i never chose dad to be my dad, most especially my grandma to be my grandma. I just don't understand why God would give me such people to be with each and everyday. But i still feel lucky that dad doesn't think of remarrying(if that happen, it'll be the death of me) and that my grandma is so old that it won't be long that she'll end up in pain at a certain ICU.

Not only they are TERRORISTS but they are RACISTS too, huh?

Hot, dark skinned, tanned, fashionable, sexy, wavy haired, model-type, patient, feminine and rather bitchy.
The kind of girl some Tokio Hotel fan girls would want for Bill Kaulitz. Someone who's like Beyonce, Rihanna, Chanel Iman or Kim Kardashian- best known for being oh-so fashionable and downright lascivious to the point they already hooked up with loads of guys.
While everybody knows the kind of girl Bill would want is an understanding, talkative, spontaneous girl who looks like Ashley Olsen( as much as possible is a German who can speak in German or live in another country who can speak in German). Some TH fans still press their desires really hard and even think Bill's preference is ugly compared to their choice for him. They wanted to see him live, make babies and drink milk with a bitchy, tanned gallows bird who isn't exactly his type of girl.

While they flame and disagree on the type of girl Bill would be infatuated with, the worst is that when someone says that a very pretty Asian chick(e.g Yubin of Wonder girls, Linda Chung, Maggie Cheung Ho Yee circa Old time buddy, the Japanese singer one TH fan talked about some time ago) would look cute with Bill. Seriously, a lot would flame and throw off evil comments saying that "Bill doesn't like girls who have small eyes" and those sort of stuffs.
What the hell is that all about? I don't remember Bill saying or implying that otherwise im not listening to "World behind my wall" right now since Bill is such a skin-headed, misguided moron whose line of thinking about humans is from fifty decades ago. That means naive Herge from the racist 1920s had more sensitivity about racism than them.

The truth is, i don't know how on earth those confounded "fans" ever thought that Bill is better off with someone who doesn't really capture much of his fancy. Huh, as if those Bashi-bazouks knew Bill better than Bill knew himself... It's just like pairing Harry Potter off with Madame Rosmerta or Dumbledore with Sybill Trelawney. If they are really fans, they should accept and respect Bill's preferances or what other's opinions are. They shouldn't really force other people about what they want. Thank God, none of them ever became Bill Kaulitz or else if he does hook up with such an ostrogoth, i would rather die in a plane crash in the Himalayas than hear that on the Tokio Hotel Network. =p

Jamie Wong

Jamie Chariss Wong Gwai Fei (Simplified Chinese: 王桂菲) is the titular character and protagonist from the Harry Potter fan fiction "Die Welt von Jamie Wong" by Potterforumista Irish Uy. The story covers the life of the 16 year old Chinese witch who lives in Hamburg, Germany with her father and her exploits from living life the muggle way until she found herself to have changed her path set into the wizarding world instead.
When the story started, Jamie was a witch who lives life like a German muggle and at the same time studies wizardry under the guidance of her dad Percy. To aid her more in her wizarding studies, her dad gave her his old timeturner so she can study wizardry and at the same time do her muggle activities. She attends the muggle Hamburg Central High School where she had Raimund Jost, a closeted gay friend of Jamie who claims he wanted to be a doctor but inside wanted to become a fashion designer. In Hamburg Central, she excels in mathematics(which is the only muggle talent she considered having), having trouble in Physics and facing her worst enemy Aslana Gecim, who also turned out to be a wizard(neither witches knew if one was a witch and vice versa). Aslana was a hot looking, frivolent and lewd witch who happens to be the daughter of a top German model and a Turkish manager of a record company who are both wizards.
Aslana used to be Jamie's best friend until Jamie got tired of her and saved Raimund from being bullied by her. Since that day, they became worst enemies. Aslana also happened to have a crush on Jamie's celebrity crush, the frontman of the band Die Argyles: Johannes Trumper. One day, Aslana exposed to everyone a muggle picture of her being with Johannes in a bar, which left Jamie into tears and outright jealousy towards Aslana. When she got home, her dad told her that they'll be going on a roadtrip to London this summer. On their way to London, Jamie showed her sudden distaste of Die Argyles and that shocked her dad. What shocked him more was that Jamie's crush had a relationship with Aslana from what Aslana proved to everyone and back then Jamie and Percy both believed that Aslana was a muggle. Percy just comforted his sobbing daughter by telling her that it's an inevitable situation that people having crushes face and he too felt as bad as her when he was a teenager. Then they passed by Brussels(where they met Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, Prof. Calculus and many others-just kidding), Paris(where they saw Julien and Zhang Chongren- again, just kidding) and some other notable European towns and cities before arriving in London a few days later. In London, Jamie's heartbreak became more painful as she read a blog post by Aslana about Johannes. But her melodramatic moment did not last long when her German OWL results and *gasp* a letter from Hogwarts arrived and there Jamie made up her decision to leave behind her muggle dream of becoming a pilot and opt for a wizarding career instead.
The next morning, Jamie broke in the news with her dad as well as her decision. Her dad was happy about it so they went to Diagon Alley for school supplies. On their way to the Magical Menagerie, they bumped and met their long lost Aunt Cho Chang, who was a lonely and heartbroken witch. Aunt Cho found Jamie a cat that really reminded her of Harry Potter so she named it Harry.
One night later in London, Jamie opened her myspace again after quite some time. To her surprise, she read a blog post made by Aslana in which she told that Johannes was thankful that despite having bitchy fans(particularly a Cantonese speaking girl who had a very confusing Chinese name-pertaining to Jamie), he was thankful that he had Aslana who understands him.
Despite being so distraught and depressed with what she heard about Johannes and Aslana, her spirits soared when she realized she is about to leave behind the unkind muggle world she lived in and move on with the world she belonged in- the wizarding world.
When she was in Hogwarts, she was sorted in Gryffindor where she met and befriended Tahsin Bouvier, Rosly Kiorsly and Keith Hutchins. During the quidditch team audition, Jamie noticed a loner girl who strikingly look like Johannes. Tahsin told Jamie that her name is Audrie Trumper and she's a girl who just couldn't say no to trouble(at least she can say no to drugs!!). Then that afternoon, Keith-the Gryffindor quidditch captain- released the results and Jamie was surprised that she made it in the team along with Tahsin and Audrie.
Later that night in the Gryffindor common room, Jamie confronted Audrie out of anger for Johannes and there Jamie got to know the truth- Johannes and Aslana aren't together. In fact they're worst enemies and that they are wizards like them. After some clarifications, Jamie and Audrie became friends and Audrie joined in Jamie's group of guy pals while Jamie moved in Audrie's dormitory. Back in Hamburg, Raimund can't take the pain of long distant friendship with Jamie so he stopped talking with her, Aslana was stunning spell was backfired after attempting to make Johannes fall for her and it was revealed that Johannes is studying to be an auror, Ian is a squib and he is Johannes' best friend.
After a Gryffindor victory over Ravenclaw, the latter's team captain, Mikey Moon, provoked some trouble with Audrie which ended up in a midnight duel. Audrie picked Jamie to be her partner, who is reluctant about joining the fray. Mikey picked Juli Tamatree, a fifth year girl who is good friends with Frankie, Dylan, Amy and the other good Ravenclaws. During dinner, Audrie was bothered by her conscience so she decided to go on her own and leave Jamie out of it. But in the last minute, Jamie recalled what Audrie did for her so she joined in the fray so she can protect Audrie. In the duel, Mikey had Juli do most of the duel but in the end, Juli gave up because their fight is none of her business and the prefects' bathroom benefit will only last her for this year because Mikey is a seventh year. Then the four got detention from Prof. Moody and Prof. Hale. While Jamie and Audrie were sorting out the potions ingredients of Professor Hale, Jamie tells Audrie the story of her past with Aslana. After that, the two overheard Prof. Hale and Shana talking about an exclusive Christmas party in Hogsmeade. After that, Professor Hale saw the potions stock well organized so she invited the two to her Christmas party just as long as they keep it a secret to the whole school. They agreed.
One day, Jamie received a letter from sir Listing that Raimund doesn't want to talk to her anymore. This brought Jamie into tears, which lead Audrie into inviting her cousin and Die Argyles in Prof. Hale's Christmas party and arranging Jamie a blind date with Johannes. At the Christmas party, the two met and they fell in love with each other.
Then after some teenage melodrama in both Hamburg and Hogwarts are solved, Aslana discovered that Ian is Johannes' best friend and then she kidnapped the poor squib and used veritaserum to torture him. Then she went on to kidnap Audrie and assault Jamie in Hogsmeade. A few days after Audrie's disappearance, Jamie and friends received a letter from Aslana with a riddle saying she got Audrie, Ian, the what and the ways on how to get them back safely. With the use of Beedle the Bard's mysterious statue, they snuck out to London via Floo network but they ended up in Aunt Cho's, where Keith stunned aunt Cho after seeing them.
After following the statues of Asha, Athelda and Amata around London, they ended up in Islington- where Die Argyles are going to have a concert. Then there they met Aslana with Audrie and Ian tied up. Aslana was about to kill them all off if Johannes, Tahsin, Die Argyles and some aurors like Auror Potter and Weasley. Then they caught Aslana and freed Audrie and Ian. Before the concert started, Jamie and Johannes snogged in his dressing room.
The next day, Audrie arrived in Hogwarts which shocked Hogwarts- although it was said in the Daily Prophet and the Quibbler that Audrie is free and Ian is found.
Then in Platform 9 and three quarters, Jamie met her dad, aunt Cho and Raimund, with Raimund saying sorry to her. Then there she also met Audrie's family and then Johannes.
The epilogue shows Jamie with Johannes and her dad in the Wongs' home in Kowloon. The ending shows Jamie and Johannes being happy together. All was well.

What can i say about Jamie??
Jamie is more like a bff to me that i always take good care of. I treat her more than Raimund, Audrie, Johannes would combined. I groom her, feed her, protect her and be with her when she is down like she was my long time best friend. She is always there to understand my problems and my thoughts. When TH fan girls tell me that Bill would never hook up with nerdy, East Asian girls and opt for dark-skinned fashionistas instead, Jamie is there to comfort and tell me that those girls have no rights to tell me that since no one knows how Bill's mind go but Bill himself. When i feel so sad about my family, she's always the one who would tell me that she too also lost a mom and things will eventually get well in the end. Now i let her go with Johannes, Harry the cat, her dad, Aunty Cho and all her other relatives and friends happily by her side, i face the future with unknown dangers lurking around. I hope that Jamie will still inspire me to stay as i am even if the worse will come.

Letting go of anger, grudges and lust....

I never expected anything great would happen in the retreat in Tagaytay. All i thought the retreat would consist of something like a horrible mix of the Believe Youth Congress of 2008 and some major WWE-esque catfights, dogfights, street fights and all kinds of fights between SPC+Lipa against Lucena. But i was wrong...

During my stay in Tagaytay, i took a chance to let go of hard feelings, make new (unlikely) friends and enjoy the cold but gentle breeze of Tagaytay. It was a break away from problems at school, at home, the autosupply, internet, Tokio Hotel and some other things. There i lived in peace and joy with my classmates, Lipa pals and our newly befriended Lucena friends ala Big Brother.

There i let go of my past sins by confessing them all to the very kind and understanding priest who heard all of our confessions and advised us things. It was also there when God finally told me that it's okay for me to be a Harry Potter fan through the priest's advice to me. Now im convinced enough that that ignorant oaf Joma Villahermosa got nothing better to do in life so he just tell malicious lies about things, convince kids into the kind of ignorance and backwardness that belongs to the middle age and form a confounded group called "Kilusang kabataan para kay Kristo".
First, it was my dad who told me that being a Potter fan is okay just as long as it never affects my love for God at all and then now i confessed this one to the priest, well he told me the same thing- it's not sinful just as long as you still believe God is still the loving Almighty One Who can do everything and you believe magic is just plain fiction. Now that it's really the representative of Christ who told me about it, now i should be relieved and thank Him for being loving and understanding. My anger on Brother Jhoma finally let go and i forgive him- but i still hate him anyway for humiliating me in front of my schoolmates twice last year and still going around and babbling about Disney, Sesame Street or Pokemon being evil(I highly doubt when he was talking these nonsense in Hong Kong or Singapore, no one ever threw rotten dimsum nor "Hell bank notes" at him when he was delivering his speech. that gallows bird, that filibuster, anthracite, Ostrogoth, vandal).
Also, after i confessed, i noticed that when i was listening to Tokio Hotel(later that evening when we're about to sleep), i don't feel uncomfortable listening to them anymore. I think the reason why i feel so uncomfortable when i listen to Tokio Hotel before was that i did a lot of grievous sins particularly to Bill. I thought a lot of impure thoughts on him so bad that it's enough for him to wish that i'd die in a plane crash in the Himalayas and my body get eaten by the yeti. -lol. Seriously.
Other than letting go of bad things, intentions and thoughts, i also let go of personal grudge against the Lucena people. Back then, i used to think (and notice last sports fest) that the Lucena people are a bunch of mean Mary Sues who wanted all the attention, enemies, terrorists, glory, greatness, fame, power, magic powers, kilikili power, planets in the solar system and all things in them. I used to loathe them out of jealousy for being always first in games and competitions as well as T.Myn's favor.
But all these changed and me, my classmates and our Lipa mates were not the only ones who were affected by this and changed but also these Lucena people who were soon to be our friends.
The moment we met our facilitator ate Karen, a 33 year old woman who looks like the Filipino version of Sek Mei of Virtues of Harmony II, we received our retreat bags and there we found a piece of puzzle in each bag. All the different puzzle pieces form four pictures and those whose pieces forms into a picture with some other classmates shall be groupmates with them for the rest of the retreat. That means, those groupmates will be the ones who will be your groupmates in games, be with you on the same table when you eat, share stories about yourself and family, pray with you, console with you and do things together as a team. Good thing enough, GT and Angelou became my groupmates and also these three Lucena mates- Clifford, Claudine and Ivan. We are the fourth group and we are called "Alpha, Delta, Theta- Math in short" Sure enough, they became the people whom im always with throughout the retreat but i never expected that i'll get more close with GT as a best friend and be best friends with Angelou and most especially with Clifford, Claudine and Ivan. During the retreat, we shared and talk about a lot of things like Montessori here and Montessori there, their family, their lives, T.Myn, sir Manto, Rizelle, school life and such.
We were so attached to each other to the point when our retreat ended, we almost burst into tears upon separating. We all asked ourselves all these times we were in Montessori, why it's only now we're about to leave that we just discovered that we could be friends together?
Well, im happy that at least i'm about to leave Montessori discovering that the people whom i thought to be infidels were just like us.
